Fun Stuff... we all need it!

Yes, it's true, even at work everybody needs a bit of fun stuff to keep them going. For me, the fun stuff usually gives me a chance to learn new things, try out new tools or ideas, or simply to keep up to date with programs I don't use that often.

To this end I've created birthday invitations, Valentine promisary notes, posters for a Halloween/Samhain celebration I helped to organise and a variety of other bits and pieces that I really enjoyed doing. So before you think that your project is too small or too strange to interest me have a look at my fun stuff (if you look closely you'll see the festival art that I put on labels from our card list!).

Along the bottom of the page is a complete set of half-sized vehicle documents that I recreated for a 4 year old's first motorcycle: the MOT certificate and tax disc were done in Illustrator, V5C in InDesign (just to keep my hand in). On the right is a selection of posters, invitations, a get well card (at the bottom), a handout for a motorcycle rally and the corner artwork for labels on kitchen jars.

You see, nothing too big and nothing too small plus I get to learn a lot along the way.
